Receive

  1. Check the seal on each carton isn't broken.
    Broken seal? Don't use that carton. Message us.
  2. Take everything out of the box.

Store

  1. Injection cartons go in the fridge, 2 to 8°C.
    Never the freezer.
  2. Keep the alcohol wipes somewhere cool and dry.
  3. You don't need to keep the outer box.

Prepare

Wash your hands.

Pick a spot.

Your belly or the top of your thigh.

Wipe the spot with an alcohol wipe.

Inject

  1. Pinch a fold of skin.
  2. Push the needle straight in, at a right angle.
  3. Press the plunger slowly.
  4. Hold for a count, then pull the needle straight out.

Dispose

  1. Put the used syringe straight into a sharps bin.
    No sharps bin? A hard plastic bottle with a screw lid works.
