What This Page Explains
This page explains what to do if you miss a dose, need to delay treatment, or travel with medication.
One-Minute Summary
Your GLP-1 medication is taken once weekly. If you miss a dose, timing matters. Do not double doses. Store refrigerated at 2-8°C. Can be kept at room temperature for up to 21 days.
If You Miss a Dose
If Less Than 4 Days Have Passed
- Take the dose when remembered
- Resume your regular schedule
- Don't double up doses
If More Than 4 Days Have Passed
- Skip the missed dose
- Take the next scheduled dose
- Never take two doses close together
If Treatment Is Interrupted
Stopping for more than two weeks may:
- Reduce tolerance
- Increase side effects on restart
Seek medical advice before restarting after an interruption.
